I think it is a prehistoric way of looking at things. Women have more than proven their ability to take part in competitive sports and in physical fitness generally. Anyone who believes this kind of nonsense is obviously threatened by women. Women have found their place in the world ....  And that is stood right next to the men.

I think that if there were classes at various different times/days, I would be more inclined to participate. For example, I really wanted to go to Zumba classes but I was unable to find a class at a time to suite me.

3
I am busy with work and family so this limits my participation in physical activity more than any other possible factor.

I am not sure they would have an opinion either way!! They have much more important things to think about!!

It is simply a question of time. I have a lot of demands on my time so find it very difficult to fit exercise in.

If I had the time, I would participate in more physical activity as I feel it is essential to your well being. Unfortunately, I am unable to exercise as much as I would like.

I have exercised in mixed gender environments before and did not have a problem with it. In my experience, everyone at a gym is there for their own individual reasons and do not really notice anyone around them as they are busy working out.

I have previously been a member of a gym but as I have gotten older and busier, I now rely on more organic forms of exercise like walking and playing with my children in the park/garden.

I believe physical exercise whether it be in a gym or just a brisk walk is essential to all as it not only benefits ones physical health, but also ones state of mind.
